Environmental & Energy Executive Moves: GRI, American Airlines, EPA, Ameripen

American Institute for Packaging and the Environment (Ameripen): The trade and advocacy organization announced the retirement of its president, Joan Pierce of Colgate-Palmolive Company. Pierce will be succeeded by Gail Tavill of ConAgra Foods, Inc., formerly the group’s vice president. In addition, Shanna Moore of DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers has named vice president, and Jeff Wooster of The Dow Chemical Company succeeds Moore as secretary. Richard Abramowitz , director of public affairs of WM Recycle Services, has joined the board of directors on an interim basis to serve out the remainder of Pierce’s term.
