Friends of the Earth has today vowed to launch legal action against the government by the end of the week, if it does not amend its plan to slash incentives for solar installations from next month. The green NGO said it has written to Climate Minister Greg Barker warning he has until 4pm on Friday 11 November to alter the government's controversial consultation on the future of the feed-in tariff scheme, or else court proceedings will commence.
