McDonald's admits over 90% of staff on zero hour contracts

The Independent online reported on 6th August 2013 that McDonald's has admitted that up to 90 per cent of its UK employees are on zero-hour contracts. The admission indicated that it is potentially the largest zero-hour employer in the UK's private sector, with 82,800 contracted staff not guaranteed work or a stable income.
