Prenatal Exposure to Stress Promotes Early Aging

One of my oldest friends from elementary school gave me some great advice about pregnancy. She’s always been a friend I looked up to, a friend that had easy answers to sometimes hard questions, so I listened. She spoke of how staying stress-free during pregnancy is one of the most important things you can do for your child. She did everything she could during those crucial nine months to avoid situations that would throw her into a stressful state because that stress would be carried onto her baby. Of course, you can’t avoid stress for the entirety of your pregnancy, but the more you do, she said, the more at ease your little one will end up.
