An overview of Chris Huhne's speech to the Lib Dem conference this afternoon:

Chris Huhne launched an impassioned defence of the coalition's green policy agenda today, insisting that the party remains fully committed to becoming the "greenest government ever" and intends to make green growth the centrepiece of the UK's economic recovery. In a widely trailed move, the energy and climate change secretary also announced new powers for energy industry watchdog Ofgem designed to tackle alleged "predatory pricing" from the Big Six energy companies.
