WWF Makes Case for Conservation Funding

WASHINGTON, DC, September 13, 2011 – Today, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) launched a targeted radio ad highlighting the importance of the tiny sliver of the federal budget that is dedicated to addressing conservation, global poverty and health. WWF’s ad encourages radio listeners in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to contact their U.S. Representative, Kay Granger, and express support for continued funding. Representative Granger represents portions of Ft. Worth, chairs the Appropriations Subcommittee on State-Foreign Operations and is an important voice in federal budget negotiations.
