Want a say in what gets built near you? Stop Govt's proposed changes to planning rules #planning #DT @wwwfoecouk

I am alarmed to hear the Government's Localism Bill and the proposed new national planning guidance will demolish the influence local people now have in the planning decisions that affect developments in and around their communities. It means that local parks, shops, allotments and green spaces in my community could all disappear under developments like housing estates, incinerators and huge new supermarkets. Please urge the Planning Minister Greg Clark MP to make sure planning proposals: - Mean developers don't have free reign to build wherever they like - Address issues like climate change - Ensure development is truly sustainable and protect the environment and our communities for generations to come.
