DECC release monthly update to energy statistics,

The latest national statistics on Energy Trends and Prices produced by the Department of Energy and Climate Change were released on 25 August 2011 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority. Statistics on monthly production and consumption of coal, electricity, gas, oil and total energy include data for the UK for the period up to the end of June 2011. Statistics on average temperatures and wind speeds include data for the UK for the period up to the end of July 2011. Statistics on energy prices include retail price data for the UK for July 2011, and petrol & diesel data for August 2011, with EU comparative data for July 2011. The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 28 July 2011. To access the latest release click on the relevant subject link.
