Brits' love affair with renewables grows ever stronger

Months of attacks from the right wing media over the impact of wind farms and other renewable energy projects appear to have had no discernable impact on public opinion, after a major new poll revealed public support for renewable energy increased over the past year. The survey of more than 2,000 people carried out by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) last month found that public support for onshore wind power has reached a 12-month high.
