Chinese Subway Riders Given Giant Punching Bags to Deal With Commuter Rage (Video)

While not nearly as bad as road rage, some commuters using public transportation could get a little riled up during long or arduous trips in rush hour traffic. One subway station in China may have a clever solution to anyone who needs to vent their stress (or boredom), offering giant punching bags to riders. The punching bag is, in actuality, a very clever ad campaign by Adidas, installed in Shanghai. The slogan written on it, according to Micgadget , says, "Every year you have to wait on the platform for about 1,824 minutes. Don't waste your time, come and have some punch !" That is a LOT of waiting on a subway platform. And it's not a bad way to get some exercise or blow off some steam while waiting.
