University of Dayton Clean and Renewable Energy Program Chair

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy named Kelly Kissock, chair of the University of Dayton mechanical and aerospace engineering and clean and renewable energy programs, a “champion of energy efficiency.” The designation goes to leaders in the energy-efficiency field who have demonstrated excellence in program implementation, leadership, research and energy policy. Past winners include Walmart and the Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation. Kissock just returned from Brazil where he was part of a U.S. Department of Energy and Global Sustainability Electric Partnership initiative to promote sustainable energy development. Kissock, head of the University of Dayton’s award-winning Industrial Assessment Center, helped develop university-based energy assessment programs.
