AllEarth Renewables Inc. boasts it has designed and installed the largest distributed solar tracker farm in North America. Located in South Burlington, Vt., behind a grove of trees at the end of a suburban residential development, the $12 million, 25-acre solar farm includes 382 inverters built by SMA America of Rocklin, Calif. That, plus AllEarth's GPS-oriented AllSun Trackers allows the inverters to maximize power output from dawn to dusk, creating an estimated 2.9 million annual kilowatt hours of power that will be sold to Vermont’s Sustainably Priced Energy Development (SPEED) Program .
