Obama to announce new fuel efficiency standards

President Barack Obama is scheduled to announce new fuel efficiency standards for US cars and trucks tomorrow after the White House reached a compromise agreement with automakers this week. According to Reuters' reports citing sources close to the long-running negotiations, the President will announce that manufacturers' fleets must average 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025.
