Bad news for climate: CO2 levels surged in 2012:

Published March 6, 2013 in Climate Tweet Print Email In a telling sign that the fight to end climate change is growing ever more urgent, measurements of heat-trapping carbon dioxide "jumped dramatically " in 2012, according to data from NOAA's Earth System Research Laboratory station in Mauna Loa, Hawaii. The alarming numbers are "just a testament to human influence being dominant" in the recent warming trends that have triggered climate change, according to an Associated Press interview with greenhouse gas measurement director Pieter Tans.
