#WasteZone next week! at @Ecobuild_Now Resource Seminar & @TrashedFilm 5-7March @Excellondon #EndWaste

The WasteZone is a temporary place dedicated to the discussion of the issues & huge potentials of seeing waste as a future resource. Students, activists, film-makers and designers of all kinds will be presenting their ideas, showing examples of products, buildings, furniture etc – all made from waste. Brighton’s FotoDocument are exhibiting "Reclaimed Journeys", a photo essay by Australian photographer Rodney Dekker that documents positive waste initiatives across Australia. Super scavenger Cat Fletcher, Interior Architect Gem Barton & her students have up-cycled benches for visitors to use. Chalk Architecture are donating 4 beautiful cardboard chairs for presenters to sit on and autograph. We then hope to auction them off on Thursday 07th March. Proceedings will go towards the showing of the new film documentary “Trashed” made with Jeremy Irons that will be shown every lun...
