The Truth About Salt:

My experience has been that salt, or most condiments really, are nothing more than a quick taste change whose properties can help or hurt the human digestive system. Quick, being the operative word. Everything we do must be quick, fast, etc., and in food choice we gulp food rather than savor the taste for what it is. I don't use additional salt anymore and can now taste just how much salt is already there. It's no wonder blood pressure is effected. Start with a change of "chewing" and savoring the taste of what you eat. If you can't take it without adding substantial taste changers, then don't eat it. Your appetite will shrink, probably along with your stomach size, and you will be eating what you enjoy rather than force feeding false pleasure. I believe the French and Orientals have this correct, for the most part, but as Japan changes to American style, so do their healt...
