The eco fashion designer premiered two compostable swimsuits at Miami Swim 2012 Fashion Week 's first-ever sustainable swimwear show, Haute Natured , Ecouterre reports . And yes, you can actually wear them in the water. Photos: Though Loudermilk has been a long-time TreeHugger favorite -- she's impressed us with Loudermilk Men , a hand-tailored Luxury Eco line, a denim collection , and in 2005 we named her one of the Best Sustainable Designers -- but her swimwear fails in comparison to what we've seen in the past.
