David Suzuki Foundation reaches out July 14, 2011 | 1 comment By Winnie Hwo, Climate Change Campaigner Vancouver's summer may have been late in coming this year, but that didn't dampen the Latin community's party mood. Latincouver hosted the annual Carnaval del Sol for the third year last month and once again, it was a huge success. More than 10,000 people joined the party that took over five city blocks on downtown Granville Street. For the David Suzuki Foundation, the music, fun and food presented the perfect setting for our Climate Change and Clean Energy team to talk with the public about sustainable living. And of course, none of our public engagement work is possible without the help of our volunteers.
