Will the EU reveal judging criteria for biofuel bodies?

Green groups will today learn if the European Commission is ready to lift the lid on the methods it used to decide whether biofuels can be certified as "sustainable". The Commission has recently approved biofuel schemes that have been deemed to have met sustainability criteria under the EU's Renewable Energy Directive. The certification is meant to guarantee that no forest was chopped down or wetlands dried as a result of the biofuel production.
