EVgo Powered 40 Million Miles Of Emissions-Free Driving In 2017

EVgo is America’s largest EV fast-charging network, with more than 1,000 Level 3 fast chargers in 66 markets coast to coast. 2017 was a banner year for the company . Its customers used 13 million kilowatt-hours of electricity during 1.1 million charging sessions, each lasting an average of 25 minutes. That’s an increase of 50% over 2016. In total, that was enough electricity to power its customers’ cars for a total of 40 million miles, assuming 3.125 miles per kilowatt-hour. The 2017 total is nearly double the number of miles EVgo customers were able to travel in 2016.
