River as Teacher: sharing new ways to learn & build collaborative projects via @revkin

If my “mild” stroke (is there such a thing?) had not intervened, I would have been heading tonight to the banks of the Hudson River, on the campus of Marist College, to talk about energy technology and policy with participants in River Summer . This annual project aims to foster a multi-disciplinary approach to watershed issues at faculties at universities and colleges up and down the Hudson. I hope you’ll explore the River Summer blog , and I’d love it if you could cite other efforts to foster ways of learning and teaching that are built less around subjects — limnology, political science — and more around integrative concepts like a watershed.
