Photos: Alex Davies Recently, the idea of reconnecting cities with their rivers has gotten pretty popular. Since February, we've covered announcements from Paris, London, New York and Minneapolis that they will be kicking out cars in favor of parks for pedestrians and cyclists, and have featured some very sexy renderings. But while the futures of the the Seine, Thames, East, Hudson and Mississippi Rivers are bright, none of them can match Lyon's Rhône River. That's because Lyon has already finished its waterfront renovation- it's been done since 2007, in fact. And it's gorgeous. View the entire comment thread.
