A discussion of clean energy innovation, with @drgrist, and beer [VIDEO]

David: I am forced to question a response you gave in your video in which you referred to your dream for energy systems and described the ruling principle as democratic, going on to explain how everyone would have a say in the power system. Really? Have you noticed the recent democratic process in Washington, D.C., and would you want it applied to your power supply? The word is often used to mean inclusive, but inclusion has a nasty result of bringing in the worst kind of obstructionists. As good as such a comment may seem, its a formula for real trouble when it comes to power systems. As a last point, we want hospitals run by knowledgeable and skilled people, not witch doctors and snake oil salesmen, but a fully democratic model would allow a committee of these groups to hold sway with medical procedures. is that what would improve our medical system or the power system?
