Seagrass beds are vital to the fight for a healthy climate. They suck up huge amounts of CO2, and store it for decades or centures in the thick mud the seagrass grows in. But the ocean is losing 7 percent of its seagrass habitats every year. We have to safeguard these underwater meadows, and it turns out one of the best ways to do so is by protecting sharks.
