Puma Trades Plastic Bags for "Clever Little Shopper" Made of Corn Starch

is phasing out its plastic bags in favor of a new carrier that’s completely biodegradable. A collaboration between the sportswear giant and Fuseproject (led by rock-star designer Yves Béhar ), the “Clever Little Shopper” comprises 100 percent cornstarch, which will break down into compost in three months. Can’t wait that long? As the above video demonstrates, you can also dissolve the bag in warm water in under three minutes.
