Photo: Photo of shark by Melissa McCormack An on-duty course marshall at San Juan Hills Golf Club in San Juan Capistrano, California (say that 10 times fast) was witness to a most unusual site earlier this week: A live two-foot long leopard shark thrashing near the 12th tee. The marshal immediately picked up the shark, placed it in the back of his golf cart and drove it back to the clubhouse. Cart attendant Bryan Stizer immediately placed the shark in a bucket of mild salt water and then clocked-out and drove down to Baby Beach to release him/her. “I thought he was dead,” Stizer told The Capistrano Dispatch . “When I dropped him into the water, he just lied there for a few seconds, but then he did a twist and shot off into the water.” Director of Club Opera...
