Attention eco-fashion designers: Enter the "Red Carpet Green Dress" contest and get mentored by Vivienne Westwood!

competition? The annual talent search has recruited no less than Vivienne Westwood as a judge and mentor. The legendary British designer—and born-again “climate revolutionary”—will not only help choose a winning designer, but she’ll also work with him or her to bring the design to life for an as-yet-unnamed actress at the 85th Academy Awards in 2013. “We are at war with our environment and our future is unsteady,” Westwood says in a statement. “In order for a shift to occur we must make informed decisions to live more harmoniously with our planet, and I’ve joined Red Carpet Green Dress because its message aligns with this idea.”
