James Cameron Challenges Environmentalists to Go Vegan via @ecorazzi

Animal rights supporters and vegans have often grumbled about the lack of dietary changes and talk of plant based diets amongst environmentalists. Considering animal agriculture accounts for more greenhouse gases than all of transportation combined, it seems like giving up burgers and milkshakes is the least we can do. While eating local and organic is common in the green world, giving up animal products is more rare but more impactful. Perhaps a massive and respected voice like Cameron’s will inspire eco-warriors to take the challenge and switch to a plant based diet for the good of this big blue planet. She needs all the help she can get.
