Watch: Massive 7-Foot Leatherback Turtle Rescued and Released - #happyendings

The largest reptiles in the world, Leatherback turtles have witnessed a dramatic drop in nesting populations – from over 115,000 estimated in 1980 to as few as 26,000-43,000 today. They often migrate up the East coast in June to feed on jellyfish populations – and as such, are seen as a major contributor to keeping the jellies in check.
