Textile Arts Center Hosts a Sustainable Fashion Night Out in New York

State was launched in Seattle in 2010 by Adrienne Antonson. The artist and designer takes a thoughtful, handcrafted approach to fashion using organic cotton, reclaimed materials and local fibers. All items are made by hand in the USA. For Fashion Night Out, the designer showed off an over-sized men shirt that she converted in to a dress. Notice, she even used the old shirt sleeves to create pockets!
