New blog post: SVILU Debuts: Wearable and Elegant Sustainable Staples

SVILU, a collection of sustainable staples for modern dressing, made its debut in New York this week. I met designers Britt Cosgrove and Marina Polo at their Tribeca loft and they took me through their gorgeous and ultra-wearable collection. I was drawn to the classic beauty and wearability in each piece. The designers said they strive “to design staples that endure the ebb and flow of trends.” Indeed they’ve done just that. This is a sustainable brand that knows how to dress a woman of any body type. Britt and Marina used environmentally sensitive fabrics such as organic cotton, tencel, modal, cupro and made use of digital fabric printing. This Spring/Summer 2013 collection was manufactured in the United States. Designers Marina Polo and Britt Cosgrove founded SVILU in 2012.
