UK Boy Finds Valuable Piece of Whale Vomit

a mysterious chunk of matter resembling a rock on the Hengistbury Head beach near Bournemouth in the United Kingdom. Unlike the common rock, however, the waxy, sweet-smelling material Naysmith found is actually whale vomit, otherwise known as ambergris . While the average person would likely have no interest in vomit of any kind, ambergris is a hot commodity for perfumers because it can help maintain and lengthen a perfume’s scent.
