Dreamy Hobbit Treehouse is a Tolkien fan’s dream come true
Although the Hobbit Treehouse isn’t burrowed into a hillside like a traditional hobbit home, owners Gordon and Audrey Mack paid careful attention to make the rental feel as authentic as possible. To get to the magical abode, visitors must pass through an arched wooden door (marked by an Elvish sign) and a short bridge lined with artificial grass that lead to the beautiful 5-foot-high round treehouse door. The cozy interior is decked out with timber and stone walls, rounded windows, and special Tolkien-inspired goodies such as a glowing Eye of Sauron, a long sword, gauntlet with a gold ring, and Hobbit-feet slippers that come in a variety of sizes.
