Gorgeous mirrored facade extension allows brick Belgian notary to blend into the landscape

A relatively new notary building in Horebeke, Belgium, was given a futuristic mirrored extension that accentuates the lush landscaping on its grounds. Designed by Atelier Vens Vanbelle , the new addition was created with the goal of complementing the building’s surroundings- as the original structure did - without imposing on the landscape. The architects’ solution for accomplishing this goal was to create an abstract mirrored box that connects to the original building through a sleek transparent passageway.
