BFI announces six innovative finalists for the 2015 Buckminster Fuller Challenge

has just announced the six pioneering finalists for the 2015 Buckminster Fuller Challenge . Whittled down from a shortlist of 15, the finalists represent this year’s top solutions for addressing “humanity’s most pressing problems” and will continue on in the running to win the $100,000 grand prize toward the implementation of their work. The final six proposals are geographically and topically diverse, ranging from the use of algae systems for wastewater treatment to digital modeling technologies to create water-smart urban design.
