Jason Schwartzman Narrates Film On Eating Meat And Environment
It’s no secret that the meat industry has negatively impacted our environment. But despite that fact it hasn’t stopped the industry from controlling the food we eat. Enter the short film “What to Eat,” narrated by Jason Schwartzman . Schwartzman is best known for his roles in the film Rushmore and the HBO series “Bored to Death,” but for the short film he is featured as a narrator who comments on how what we eat effects the impact on the planet. What’s so nice about it is that this film isn’t preachy, it’s not some condescending lesson on why people who eat meat are bad or how we’ve ruined the earth. Instead it looks at the life of an ordinary family man, and his choice (after hearing about meats negative effects) to make dinner for his family without the use of meat. We never see the man’s face, as the camera is used as his POV, but we hear Schwartzman’s voice as he goes ...
