But we've taken care to giving kudos where they're due, as well, whether it's turning its Lanvin leftovers into a waste-free collection or launching a ongoing "Conscious Collection" derived from Ma Earth-approved fabrics. In its latest sustainability report , the Swedish retailer continues to confound, provoke, and impress. Here, we excerpted some of the highlights, along with an interview with Helena Helmersson, H&M's new head of corporate social responsibility, that doesn't sidestep the tough questions, including the sustainability (in all meanings of the word) of bargain-bin prices.
