Gorgeous cantilevering roof made of timber tops Hungary’s spectacular new Pancho Arena

near Budapest, Hungary, named after football legend Ferenc Puskás, boasts beautiful glulam vaults that rise above the stands, making the central pitch look like a clearing in a forest. Called Pancho Arena, the structure was designed by Doparum Architects and Dobrosi Tamás as a more organic alternative to the Brutalist architectural style that dominated the Communist era.
