14,000 reused eyeglasses will make you see Istanbul in a new light:

The lenses are meant to create a surface reminiscent of the Golden Horn waterway, the primary inlet of the Bosphorus in Istanbul . Most of the elements of the installation were donated by members of the artists’ community. The Canadian Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center, an organization dedicated to helping vision-impaired people around the globe, also contributed a significant number of eyeglasses.
