Pollution-Sensing “Aegis” Parka Includes a Respirator to Help You Breathe

not only warns you when the air quality around you is bad, but it also helps cleanse the air as you walk or bike through the city. The Aegis Parka is treated with a TiO2 (titaniumdioxide) solution, which cleanses the air due to it’s photocatalystic properties. The exterior of the parka is also made from Schoeller-Ceraspace , a scaly fabric created out of ceramic particles that it far more heat resistant then leather and the inner lining is made from a material that balances out temperatures which are too high or too low to achieve the wearer’s personal comfort climate.
