Fake-Out Fashion: Women Paint Their Soles Red to Get the Louboutin Look

So how are these resourceful fashionistas recreating the Loubs they see on stars like Posh Spice and Kim Kardashian? We think the renowned French shoemaker would be pretty dismayed to find out how easy it really is. All you need is a £1.59 tester size pot of red paint (the closer it is the Pantone-18 Chinese Red, which is the color painted on the soles of real Louboutins, the better), a pair of heels you like and a brush. There are even DIY video tutorials on YouTube like this one from Nicky DeLys , showing you how to achieve the coveted red sole-look for less.
