New Post: Who Is Our July Mom on A Mission? PLS

As we picked up the pieces of our broken hearts, we got pregnant with our second child. Jarren Mitchell was born four weeks early but healthy. I traded a much-loved job as an Executive Assistant at a graduate university of medical sciences to take on a new role - motherhood! 18 months later we got pregnant with #3. And a few months after Jarren's 2nd birthday we welcomed Vincent James into our family. My heart was full and our family was complete. However, just before Jarren's 3rd birthday he started getting really sick. Not bouncing back as he should, I insisted on further testing and we ultimately ended up at the hospital for a CT scan. A "mass" was found on Jarren's liver. 48 hours later my son underwent a liver biopsy and we had a diagnosis. I collapsed to the floor as a team of doctors delivered news I NEVER thought I would hear: your son has cancer.
