Artist creates impossibly realistic murals in Hawaiian waterways while balanced on a surfboard

The attention to detail, such as lighting and making sure the pieces just meet the water line, truly deliver the illusion that giant beauties are bathing in the river. The NYC-based artist does both indoor and outdoor work, yet producing these murals requires a steady hand and a healthy dose of adventurousness. Surely, we haven’t seen the end of Hula’s acrylic artistry, so stay tuned to see what he envisions next.
