Adidas exceeds #sustainable cotton target @adidas

HERZOGENAURACH – The adidas Group sourced more than 30 per cent of its cotton through the Better Cotton Initiative in 2014 – the highest volume of sustainable cotton in its history and well in excess of its 25 per cent target. Most of the company's Better Cotton was sourced from farmers located in India, Pakistan and Brazil. adidas has committed to sourcing 100 per cent of cotton across all its products as 'sustainable cotton' by 2018 and is targeting to use 40 per cent Better Cotton by 2015.
