Alex MacLean's Aerial Images of Tar Sands Reveal Shocking Details About Keystone XL Source

has had an eagle’s-eye view of the Alberta tar sands , and what he witnessed left him both shocked and amazed. A Massachusetts-based aerial photographer, MacLean decided to photograph the massive oil development from above this past winter because he wanted to learn more about the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline project – which would pump bitumen from the tar sands to U.S. ports in the Gulf of Mexico.
