C&A and @WaterFootprintN announce partnership. #Cotton #greywater footprint 5xs higher than #organic cotton

BRUSSELS – European clothing retailer C&A and the Water Footprint Network have announced a new partnership to improve water sustainability in the textile supply chain in the wake of their research into water usage, which found that with conventional cultivation, the grey water footprint of cotton is about five times larger than with organic cultivation.
