Beluga Whale Dies at SeaWorld San Antonio

Bella, a four-year-old beluga whale, died this past Sunday at SeaWorld San Antonio. Bella was born at SeaWorld and lived her entire life in captivity. Park officials aren’t saying a whole lot about the whale’s death, though they have stated that Bella died after a “brief illness,” and a necropsy will be performed, though the results will take “several weeks.” The illness, time of death, or any other details are still unknown at this point.
