Corrugated jewelry #recycled #packaging

You’ll never mistake cardboard for precious metal, but Yael Gaizler and Aviv Kinel might prompt a double take. The Israeli designers fuse the corrugated fibers with the real McCoy (gold, silver, precious stones) using traditional metalsmithing, weaving, and lacing techniques. As if by alchemy, the humble packaging material is transformed, becoming an object of desire on its own merit.
