This DIY wearable-tech kit for preteen girls needs to happen now, not least because we want one for ourselves
future of wearable technologies , the Seattle office at Frog Design dreamed up a kit that would give tweens all the basic tools to start making their own smart accessories. The Hello World DIY kit is filled with materials and modular pieces and parts to start preteen girls off on the road to playing and experimenting with technology. The kit would include accessible Arduino projects that don’t need an programming skills to complete and it encourages creativity and expression. We can’t wait to see this kit made, not just because it will create a whole new generation of fashion designers, but because it looks like a ton of fun and we want one for ourselves.
