Sungevity Lays Off 2/3 of Workforce; Faces Potential Class-Action Lawsuit from Workers

According to a source familiar with the company, Sungevity's decision to lay off two-thirds of its workforce with no severance or payment for accrued vacation time is illegal and the former employees are considering filing a class-action lawsuit against the company. In addition, the source said that the Department of Labor is opening an investigation into the matter.
